The son of a professional jazz guitarist, Ted Falcon was born in New York and raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Ted took up piano at age five and began playing the violin at six. He went on to study jazz at the University of Pittsburgh with Nathan Davis, and later at Indiana University with David
Baker and Marcos Cavalcante. He has recorded and performed with Suzanne Vega, Ben E. King, Juan Gabriel and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. He currently teaches at the Silverlake Conservatory of Music.

Born in San Francisco and raised in Los Angeles, Colin Walker grew up in a musical household. His parents, an audio engineer and a pianist-composer, often hosted rehearsals and recording sessions in the family living room. Playing the guitar since the age of fifteen, Colin has spent recent years focused on Brazilian music. Through studies with guitarist João Junqueira and during several trips to Brazil, he has sought an understanding of the cultural context of samba and choro music as well as the peculiarities of the Brazilian seven-string guitar style.

Edson Gianesi was born in São Paulo, Brazil. He received his BFA in percussion from São Paulo State University and his MFA in composition and percussion from CALARTS under the orientation of Mort Subotnick and John Bergamo. His background was shaped through extensive works in the classical contemporary field as well as Brazilian popular music. Mr. Gianesi has been featured in several CDs in Brazil, the United States and Japan. Currently, along with the Los Angeles Choro ensemble, he writes music for film and animation, and he is a member of East LA band - Quetzal. |
